Birth Doula

Birth Services

During Pregnancy

Two prenatal visits, typically scheduled between 34 to 36 weeks. One over zoom and one in-person. We discuss your priorities, preferences, and any concerns you may have.

I will provide email, text, and phone support from that visit until our final postpartum session.

Assist the birthing person and their partner (if applicable) in defining their birth preferences or “birth plan”.

During Labor & Delivery - I will...

On-call starting from 38 weeks until the time you give birth.

Stay by the side of the laboring person through the entire labor.

Provide continuous emotional and physical support. Emotional support can mean giving you encouragement and verbally affirming your work. Physical support can mean suggesting comfort measures and positions, holding your hand, and rubbing your back.

Facilitate communication between you, your partner (if applicable), and the care provider. I never speak for you, I’m here to amplify your voice, ask for clarification, and make sure you are heard and respected.

I will remain with you for one to two hours post-delivery to help you get settled in recovery, assist with initial breastfeeding, and generally make sure you are comfortable.

One Postpartum Visit

Within a few weeks of the birth, we will have a postpartum visit to discuss your birth experience, address any questions you have, and visit with you and your baby. See postpartum services for additional visits.

Upon signing a contract I require and 50% deposit and at our prenatal visit the balance is due. I accept paypal, venmo, cash, and check. Payment plans are also available. I am also open to bartering for goods and services.
